• 2003

  July 8
  China Health Food Association awarded a certificate to Mr. Li Jinyuan, President of Tianshi Group, congratulating the Group on its entering the Top 100 Enterprises in China's health food industry for 3 consecutive years from 2000 to 2002.

  April 23
  Tianshi Group employees donated RMB 3 million and RMB 42 million worth of health food to the anti-SARS undertakings, a positive contribution to the anti-SARS campaign.

  March 20
  Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Minister of Science, Technology and Environment Liu Xianzhen warmly received Mr. Li Jinyuan, president of Tianshi Group, at the News Conference of Tianshi Annual International Meetings.

  March 18
  The News Conference for the Tianshi Annual International Meetings Malaysia was held in Kuala Lumpur and over 100 reporters from across the world were in attendance. President Li Jinyuanaddressed the conference and donated 250,000 MYR to the World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention. Mr. Cai Guozhi, Director of the 7th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention Conference Group, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, announced that Tianshi Group had won the title of Diamond Sponsor of the 7th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention.

  March 15
  President Li had an exclusive interview with Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao. The Economic Development Bureau published a report entitled Chinese Private Enterprises Consider Setting up Manufacturing Base in Malaysia and the Tianshi Group Attempts Public Trading on the Stock Market Before the Year's End.

  The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China visited Tianshi Group and accepted the honorary title of Tianshi International Friendship Consultant awarded by President Li Jinyuan.

  The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China visited Tianshi Group and accepted the honorary title of Tianshi International Friendship Consultant awarded by President Li Jinyuan.

  February 14
  The Malaysian Ambassador to China visited Tianshi Group and was given the title of Tianshi International Friendship Consultant by President Li Jinyuan.

  January 14
  President Jiang Zemin wrote the following epigraph for Tianshi Group: Develop Health Products and Enhance the Health of Mankind.

  January 10
  The Organizational Committee of the Second Chinese Entrepreneurs' Forum honored President Li Jinyuan with the title of Outstanding Chinese Entrepreneur.

  Mr. Li Jinyuan was elected the executive committee member of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

• 2002

  December
  Mr. Li Jinyuan was awarded an honorary title, being named one of the 100 Outstanding People of the New Century in China's Reform in the Second Bid for the Outstanding Figures of the New Century in China's Reform.

  September 28
  Tianshi Group hosted a large charity event in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and donated over RMB 42 million worth of health products to as many as 8 institutions including the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the All-China Federation of Women and the China Society for the Aged. Mr. Li Jinyuan, while addressing the audience, announced that this activity marked the official initiation of the Group's ambitious charitable giving program. He pledged that by the year 2008 the Group would have donated a total of 260 million yuan worth of health products to disadvantaged groups of society.

  September
  Tianshi Group was ranked no. 134 of sizable private member enterprises according to a survey conducted in 2001 by All China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

  August 6-8
  With Honesty, Cooperation, Openness, Reciprocity, and Development as its theme, the first symposium on the Introduction of International Logistics Products was launched at the headquarters of Tianshi Group.
  
  The symposium was a great success. 54 customers signed contracts with Tianshi Group for over 100 types of products, including health products, consumer goods, home electronics, etc. Tianshi products will inevitably be spread to customers around the globe, through working with local enterprises that do business in the International arena, and are familiar with the markets of 170 countries.

  August 3
  Tianshi Group put on a function marking the company's 7th anniversary, as well as the completion of the General Command Center, at the company headquarters.

  July 31
  Tianshi Group and President Li Jinyuan were admitted respectively as standing members of the All China Council of Chinese Entrepreneurs.

  July 23
  The United Nations Poverty Relief Program's Planning Center awarded Li Jinyuan, the Group's President, the title of Expert.

  June 20
  President Li Jinyuan publicized his innovative concept of Interactive Philosophy for the first time.

  June 1
  A Tianshi Donation ceremony and Regional Sales Agent Conference for Africa were held in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. President Li Jinyuan attended and addressed the conference. On behalf of the Group, he presented 100 million cedi as well as 200.04 million cedi worth of products to a local children's organization.

  May 24
  Tianshi Products were awarded the gold prize in the area of Oncology at the Almacede 2002 International New Industrial Technology Fair.

  May 20
  Indonesian Vice President Hamzah Haz warmly received Mr. Li Jinyuan and his delegation that had come to Indonesia to host the Tianshi International Seminar.

  May 19-20
  Tianshi Group hosted the Tianshi International Development Strategy Seminar in Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. This was another grand international event hosted by Tianshi following the Group's 3rd anniversary celebration of its presence in Europe.
  
  Mr. Li Jinyuan, president of Tianshi Group, delivered 100 million Indonesia Rupiah of donations to the SOS village of Indonesia.

  May 8
  Tianshi Group threw a party celebrating the 80th birthday of Ayimu, wife of Comrade Seypidin Eziz, one of the Chinese leaders of the first generation.

  April 18
  Tianshi Educational Development Foundation was established.

  April 12
  The 52nd anniversary of the founding of the Jakarta Medical College of Indonesia was celebrated at the International Conference Center at Bali Sidang in Jakarta. Li Jinyuan was invited to participate in the celebration and he accompanied President Megawati Sukarnoputri to the International Fair of Indonesian Pharmacy and Medical Products.

  March 23-27
  During his visit to the coastal borders of Russia, President Li Jinyuan candidly exchanged in-depth views on Tianshi Group's exploration in the far-eastern region with the officials of the Asia-Pacific International Coordination Committee. They mapped out broad cooperation areas and reached a consensus in further strengthening trade relations. The meeting resulted in important outcome.

  March 25
  The Sino-Indonesian Economic and Trade Seminar jointly sponsored by the China Chamber for the Promotion of International Trade and the Indonesian Entrepreneurs Delegation was launched at the Beijing International Conference Hall. Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri attended and addressed the seminar. Tianshi Group was the only enterprise invited from Tianjin.

  The grand celebration for Tianshi Group's third anniversary of working in the European market was launched in the Lushiniki Olympic Sports Center in Moscow.
  
  The United Nations World United Promotion Society named Tianshi Group as the official supplier of products for the United Nations organs.

  In Mr. Li Jinyuan's company, Vice-Mayor of Tianjin warmly received visiting President Toshizo Watanabe of the Rijian Corporation, Michael Sheffield, from International Direct Marketing Association of America, Chief Lawyer Jeffrey A Babener, and Kendall Cho, the General Manager of North America and the Chief Operations Officer of the Rijian Corporation.

  Tianshi Group President Li Jinyuan, the President of the Rijian Corporation Toshizo Watanabe, the International Direct Marketing Association of America's Michael Sheffield, and Chief Lawyer Jeffrey A. Babener were invited to the CCTV's Wealth Salon for a special program dedicated to a Wealth Forum.

  March
  The French Quality Supervision and Appraisal Committee for Science and Technology recommended Tianshi Spirulina Capsule as a Chinese high quality product.

  February 27
  The Russian Academy of Physical Sciences gave Tianshi Group the Award for the Achievement in Science and Biological Technology and a medal named after Ecagelina Dachcova, the activist in Russian social and state affairs.

  January 19
  The grand occasion marking China's admission into the WTO (World Trade Organization) and featuring Tianshi's new profile was celebrated at the Group's headquarters in Wuqing.

  January 4-8
  President Li Jinyuan paid a working visit to Romania. During his visit, he held talks with the Chinese Commerce Attaché to Romania. He also had interviews with officials from the Romanian Ministry of Health and was warmly received by the Minister of Health.
  
  Tianshi Romania opened for business on January eighth in Bucharest.
  
  Tianshi's development in the Romanian market was paid more attention by the media. TABC had an interview with President Li Jinyuan, and reporters from other major Chinese news agencies and a number of foreign reporters showed up at the ceremony.

• 2001

  December 28
  During a nation-wide survey on the Conditions of Science and Technological Personnel and Associations in Non-state-owned Enterprises, jointly conducted by the China Association of Science and Technology, the Secretariat of the CPC, the State Economic and Trade Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other related ministries, Tianshi Group, as a representative of Non-state-owned Enterprises, held a meeting.

  November 26
  President Li Jinyuan paid a working visit to Canada and the United States.

  November 24
  The ceremony for the unveiling of the Golden Lion Sculpture was held at Tianshi Group headquarters. President Li Jinyuan cut the ribbon at the ceremony and unveiled the sculpture.

  November 15
  The First ASEAN Direct Marketing Conference was held in Malaysia and a delegation from the Tianshi Marketing Company attended the conference.

  November 10
  Li Yinyuan was elected Deputy President of the Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Tianjin Municipality.

  November 6
  Tianshi Group participated in the 2nd PECC International Trade Investment Fair, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Tianjin Municipal Government.

  November 5
  President Li Jinyuan became the 32nd wealthiest person in China, according to a survey conducted and published by Forbes Magazine, one of most authoritative and influential honors granted to Chinese entrepreneurs.

  September 12
  A conference regarding the Tianshi International Development and hosted by the Health Food Association of China was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where Tianshi Group won the title of China's Top 50 Health-Food Producing Enterprises.

  September 6
  President Li Jinyuan was invited to the 2001 Beijing Internet Development Forum.

  August 3-6
  The Grand International Celebrations of the 6th anniversary of the founding of Tianshi Group and the 2nd 8.3 International Festival were commenced in the Stadium of St. Petersburg, Russia. Thousands of Tianshi staff of different nationalities and different races from across the world gathered together with great joy, aspiring for an even more promising future.
  
  The festival will be broadcast live on Internet and is expected to attract the attention of the media both home and abroad.

  July 27
  6 years Together----the celebration (home) of the 6th anniversary of Tianshi Group was launched with grandeur. Over 3000 business representatives participated in the celebration.

  July 16
  President Li Jinyuan attended the celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet.

  June 30
  With approval given by the United Nations Development and Planning Bureau, the Environmental Planning Bureau, and the Information Development Bureau, the honorary title The Best Enterprise for International Ecological Safety was awarded to Tianshi Group for its important contributions to safeguarding the international ecological safety and the promotion of economic development.

  May 18
  Tianshi Cardio Tea won the honor of recommended product in an activity named Top Brands for the 21st Century Healthy Family.

  Tianshi 2000-2001 Annual International Meetings were grandly launched in Bangkok, capital of Thailand.

  The meetings were successfully broadcasted live on the Internet for the first time, stimulating widespread interest and the attention of the world media.

  European Senior Lecturers Group visited Tianshi.

  March 29
  President Li Jinyuan was invited to a dinner party at the official residence of the Indian Ambassador, which was held to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Indian diplomatic relations. The Vice Premier, Qian Qichen, attended the function on behalf of the Chinese government.

  November 18
  A commendation meeting for the Tianshi South Africa Branch was held in Johannesburg. President Li Jinyuan attended the meeting and delivered a report on the situation of Tianshi Group's International Development. The Chinese Ambassador, Extraordinary Plenipotentiary, and Counselor of the Economic Council joined the meeting.

  November 3
  The Tianshi Bio-development Company Ltd. passed the appraisal given by China Quality Certification Center and acquired the certificate for quality authentication.

  September 8
  The Tianshi Youth and Health Capsule produced by the Tianshi Biology Development Company Ltd. won the Gold prize in the China 2nd New Medicine and Health Food Exhibition.

  August 3
  The 1st Tianshi Group 8.3 Festival was grandly launched in the State Concert Hall of the Grand Russian Hotel in Moscow. Over 2,000 of Tianshi staff gathered together from all over the world with great joy and celebrated the successes they had achieved with Tianshi in the past five years.

  May 31
  At the invitation of the government of the Russian Federation and the Asia-Pacific International Affairs Coordination Committee, President Li Jinyuan attended the Asia-Pacific Conference on New Technology Cooperation and Investment, which was held in Vladivostok, Russia, on behalf of Tianshi Group. At the conference, Mr. Li Jinyuan held discussions with Schickgerny, Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific International Affairs Coordination Committee and Vice Governor of the Coastal Border Region, and Jiang Mingjun, Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific International Affairs Coordination Committee on issues related to science and technology cooperation and investment in the process of the realization of the integration of the Asian-Pacific countries.

  The State Ministry of Education gave official approval to the establishment of the Tianshi Vocational College of Technology, which marked the birth of the first State-admitted private institute of higher learning in Tianjin.

  The Qushui and Naqu Tinashi Primary Schools in Tibet were opened.

  The State Council issued a decree banning multi-level marketing. The previous advantage Tianshi Group had acquired no longer existed and the Group encountered a major crisis. Both the national mission and the enterprise's self-development required Tianshi Group to respond to the national call and implement a transition strategy for its operations. Tianshi Group decided to market its sales through franchise operations and, by presenting a single corporate image and a single brand in the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, establish hundreds of franchise operations across China.

  November
  Tianshi High Absorption Calcium received the Gold Award at the China Preventive Medicine Best Health Technology Products Fair during the Sixth International Science and Peace Week.

  Tianshi High Absorption Calcium received the Best Product Award and Best Modern Product Award at the 2nd Tianjin International Food and Drinks Fair.

  In order to efficiently turn its scientific and technological achievements into productivity, Tianshi Group invested heavily in the construction of its workshops and the improvement of its technology and equipment. They consulted well-known experts and scholars to overcome the technical difficulties involved in the manufacturing the High Absorption Calcium. As a result, the first up-to-the-standard Tianshi High Absorption Calcium was born, creating a new era in which mankind can supplement their Calcium through food, not medicine.

  The Tianshi Biotechnology Company invested a total of RMB 20 million of its own money to accomplish the first phase of the construction project with 3000 square meters due.

• 1993

  December
  The Tianshi Economic Development Corporation registered and created the Tianshi Biotechnology Company with the approval of Tianjin's Administration of Industry and Commerce, in an attempt to realize the industrial transfer of the High Absorption Calcium technology.

  November
  "All Natural High Absorption Calcium" received the Gold Award at the China New Science and Technological Products, Patent Technologies, and Patent Products Fair.

• 1992

  December
  With Li Jinyuan as its President, the Tianshi Economic Development Corporation was registered and established in Tanggu within the Tianjin Economic and Technology Development Zone and started its long march towards the area's industrial rejuvenation.

  President Li Jinyuan registered and created the Tianshi Economic Development Corporation in the Tanggu Development Area of Tianjin High-Tech Industry Park and put Tianshi on the path of industrial vitalization.
